Android Marshmallow update for Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 now available

Asus has released Android Marshmallow update for the 5.5-inch variant of the Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL. The new update has the build version V21.40.1220.1615 and it comes a month after update to the 5-inch Zenfone 2 Laser.

A lot of bloatware has been removed including Omlet chat, Photo Frame, PC Link, Yahoo Shopping, Zinio, iReader among others. Google Calendar, Google Messenger, GMail have taken place of the default Asus apps.

Before installing the Marshmallow update on the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 you should move apps back to internal storage as moving apps is not supported anymore after the update. To check for updates just head over to Settings -> About -> System update.
