Apple launched Updated 24″ iMac with M4 Chip, 24GB Unified Memory; Starting Price in India at Rs.1,34,900
Apple has refreshed its iMac with the new M4 chip, succeeding last year’s model, and claims it delivers 1.7x faster performance for everyday tasks and up to 2.1x faster speeds for intensive activities like photo editing and gaming compared to the M1 iMac.
The iMac retains its 24-inch 4.5K Retina display and now offers a nano-texture glass option to significantly reduce reflections and glare while maintaining high image quality, according to the company.
It also includes a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View, up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports for connecting more accessories, such as external storage, docks, and up to two 6K displays. The new iMac comes with color-matched accessories, including USB-C, and starts with 16GB of faster unified memory, configurable up to 32GB.

Pricing and Availability -
The new iMac is available in seven vibrant colours: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. Pre-orders begin from October 28, on apple.com/store and through the Apple Store app in 28 countries and regions. It will start reaching customers and be available at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers starting Friday, November 8.
