Apple Set to Launch Powerbeats Pro 2 on February 11th with H2 Chip, Advanced Features
Apple is preparing to release the Powerbeats Pro 2, an upgraded version of its fitness-focused earbuds. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the launch is just a week away, with the earbuds expected to hit the market next week.
This comes after last week’s leak of detailed specifications and images. The Powerbeats Pro 2 will feature Apple’s H2 chip, delivering improved active noise cancellation over the original model.
Sleek Design and Advanced Fitness Tracking -
Compared to the 2019 Powerbeats Pro, the new model will have a slimmer, more vertical design. Additionally, it will include heart rate monitoring for workouts and the ability to sync with gym equipment like treadmills, integrating workout data with the iPhone’s Health app.
Colour Options and Key Upgrades -
The Powerbeats Pro 2 will be available in four colours: Electric Orange, Jet Black, Quick Sand, and Hyper Purple. These details, confirmed by Gurman, align with earlier MacRumors reports.
Other notable upgrades include:
- Enhanced sound quality
- Longer battery life
- Improved Android compatibility, including Find My Device support
- A USB-C charging case for added convenience
Release Date and Pricing -
Apple is expected to unveil the Powerbeats Pro 2 on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, with a U.S. price of $250. An official announcement is anticipated as the launch date approaches.
