Google has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone in the Pixel 10 series, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL in the global market, including a simultaneous launch in India as promised. The new generation brings notable refinements across design, performance, cameras, AI features, and charging technology, positioning the Pixel 10 series as one of the most advanced smartphone offerings to date.
Displays -
The Pixel 10 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring sharp visuals even in direct sunlight. The Pixel 10 Pro, while sharing the same 6.3-inch size, steps up to a 1.5K resolution with the same 120Hz refresh, providing a crisper and more detailed viewing experience.
At the top of the lineup, the Pixel 10 Pro XL boasts a large 6.7-inch Quad HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,300 nits, a notable increase over the previous generation’s 3,000 nits, providing exceptional clarity and HDR viewing quality.
Performance -
Powered by the new Google Tensor G5 SoC with 5G SA/NSA support, the phones integrate the Titan M2 security chip. Google claims up to 60% better on-device AI performance and notable gains across compute cores, with the CPU averaging 34% faster speeds. The chipset also includes a fully custom Image Signal Processor (ISP).
The Pixel 10 Pro models feature vapor chamber cooling for improved thermal performance. All models ship with Android 16 and are guaranteed 7 years of OS and security updates. The lineup also introduces Satellite SOS (US only).
Cameras -
For the first time, the standard Pixel 10 gets a telephoto lens, though its main and ultra-wide sensors are smaller than those on the Pixel 9.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL retain a similar ultra-wide, telephoto, and front camera setup as the Pixel 9 series but upgrade the main sensor to a 48MP unit with OIS. They also support up to 100x Pro Res Zoom.
AI Features -
- Magic Cue, powered by Tensor G5, offers more personalized and intuitive AI experiences.
- Camera Coach, using Gemini models built into the camera, can analyze a scene, recommend the best angles, lighting, and shooting modes.
- Auto Best Take combines similar shots into one where everyone looks their best.
- Add Me is enhanced to include the photographer in larger group shots.
The Pixel 10 Pro series also comes with a complimentary one-year Google AI Pro plan subscription.

The Pixel 10 lineup debuts Pixelsnap, a new magnetic system for easily attaching wireless chargers, stands, grips, and accessories.
