Google Pixel 10 Pro Prototype Surfaces with Detailed Specs; Pixel 10 Series Launch Confirmed for August 20
Google Pixel 10 Pro Prototype has surfaced on Chinese social media platform Coolapk, showing the codename ‘blazer’ and the model designation ‘DVT1.0’ (Design Verification Test). The leak confirms that the device will be powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, featuring a CPU configuration of 1x Cortex-X4, 2x Cortex-A725, 3x Cortex-A725, and 2x Cortex-A520 cores.
Although the image lists the chip as using a 5nm process, tipster Mystic Leaks claims it will actually be manufactured on a more advanced 3nm process. The prototype also reveals 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with a 512GB variant expected. The phone will ship with Android 16 pre-installed.
Design-wise, the Pixel 10 Pro retains a familiar look with a triple rear camera setup. Based on earlier leaks, the camera system is likely to include a 50MP 1/1.31″ Samsung GNV primary sensor, along with a 48MP 1/2.55″ Sony IMX858 sensor used for the ultra-wide, telephoto, and front-facing cameras.

Details about the pre-launch event for the Google Pixel 10 series have recently emerged, indicating a special event for Superfans scheduled for June 27th.
According to a new report by Android Headlines, the Pixel 10 series is expected to launch on August 20, 2025, with pre-orders opening on the same day. For comparison, the Pixel 9 series was launched on August 13, 2024. The report also claims that shipments of the Pixel 10 series will begin a week later, on August 28, 2025.
