Google has launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in India, alongside the Pixel 11 series phones. The new foldable brings a slimmer and lighter design, upgraded displays, a new LED-based notification system, improved accessibility features, and custom software experiences powered by the Tensor G6 processor.
Refined Design and Hardware
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a smaller footprint than the previous-generation Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with several physical design improvements.
- Dimensions and Weight: The device is around 1mm thinner and nearly 10% lighter than its predecessor.
- Bezels: Narrower bezels provide a higher screen-to-body ratio.
- Colours: It is offered in Obsidian and Olive finishes.
The camera module now includes a new feature called HiLight, an LED ring positioned around the flash. It can display colour-coded notifications for priority contacts, provide visual feedback during hands-free Gemini sessions, and will support messaging alerts in the future.
