    HMD has launched the HMD Aura², its latest budget 4G smartphone featuring Android 14 (Go Edition) for select markets. It shares a similar design with the HMD Key, which debuted last month but offers slightly upgraded specifications.

    The device features a 6.52-inch HD+ 60Hz display and is powered by the Unisoc 9863A Octa-Core SoC, paired with up to 2GB of RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM. It includes 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD.

    HMD guarantees quarterly security updates for two years, and the 5000mAh battery delivers up to 51 hours of usage on a single charge. In terms of cameras, the phone sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera.

    The HMD Aura² will be available in Shadow Black, Electric Purple, and Icy Blue colour options. It is priced at 169 AUD (approximately USD 106 / Rs. 9,200) and will be available from March 13, 2025, in select markets, including Australia.
