HMD SKYLINE 2 GT and SKYLINE 2 Detailed Specs Surfaced Online with 6.55-inch 144Hz pOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3/ 7s Gen 3 SoC

HMD Global is now gearing up for the release of its latest smartphones in the SKYLINE series, the HMD SKYLINE 2 and the new SKYLINE GT 2, after launching the original HMD SKYLINE last year. Now, the detailed specifications of the phones have recently surfaced online.

The SKYLINE 2 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, offering a performance boost over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 used in the first-generation model. Meanwhile, the SKYLINE GT 2 is rumored to be powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, despite the availability of the newer Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 from Qualcomm.

Both models are said to come equipped with a 108MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The standard SKYLINE 2 is likely to retain the previous 13MP ultra-wide camera, while the GT 2 variant could upgrade to a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Both phones are expected to include a larger 5000mAh battery for extended usage.

A key feature being retained from the original is Gen2 Repairability, allowing users to perform easy at-home repairs. The design enables access to the phone's internals by simply removing a screw and using a screwdriver and guitar pick to open the back panel.
