HONOR unveiled the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro smartphones for global markets at an event in Malaysia last month, followed by their UK debut earlier this month. The company has now confirmed that the HONOR 600 series will launch in China on May 25th.

The Chinese variants of the HONOR 600 series will introduce a refreshed design language featuring a new triple-color finish. HONOR says the phones are the industry’s first to adopt a dual magnetic closure process, aiming to enhance the color aesthetics, craftsmanship, and in-hand feel of the devices.

HONOR has already revealed the new flagship “Lucky Star” color option for the series. The phones will also be available in Obsidian Black, Green Apple, and Light Feather Blue shades. Unlike the global variants, the Chinese models feature a redesigned camera module with a single camera bar, housing dual rear cameras on the standard HONOR 600 and triple rear cameras on the HONOR 600 Pro.

The smartphones are expected to retain the 6.57-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 200MP primary camera. The HONOR 600 is rumored to continue using the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the HONOR 600 Pro is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SoC in China instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite seen on the global model.

Battery capacity is also expected to increase significantly. Reports suggest the HONOR 600 could pack an 8600mAh battery, while the HONOR 600 Pro may feature an 8000mAh battery, compared to the 7000mAh batteries used in the global versions.

Pricing and full specifications are expected to be revealed when the devices officially launch later this month.
