HONOR Magic V Flip2 launched with 6.82-inch FHD+ 21:9 foldable and 4-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED external displays, 200MP camera
HONOR has launched its latest flip smartphone, the HONOR Magic V Flip2 at an event in China, as previously announced. It features a 6.82-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 5000 nits peak brightness, and 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It also supports AI Super Dynamic Display, AI True Color Display, Dolby Vision, and is ZREAL Frame Enjoy HD certified.
Cover Screen & User Interaction -
On the outside, the Magic V Flip2 sports a 4-inch LTPO OLED cover display with a 0.1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, ultra-narrow bezels, 3600 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The cover screen introduces new interactive experiences, such as personalized themes with nine animated pets that respond to air gestures and taps. It also integrates AI-powered tools, including Smart Reply (one-tap response), AI Interpreter, and Magic Capsule for quick interactions.
Performance -
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It also includes an RF Enhancement Chip C1+ and an Energy Efficiency Enhancement Chip E2 for optimized performance and power management.
Cameras -
The Magic V Flip2 boasts a 200MP main camera with OIS+EIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The setup is enhanced by the AI HONOR Image Engine, offering features like AI Super Zoom (up to 30x telephoto) and smart editing tools such as AI Passers-by Eraser, AI Cutout, and AI Upscale.
Design & Durability -
Continuing its partnership with fashion designer Professor Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat OBE, HONOR brings a unique design flair to the Magic V Flip2. The limited-edition model is inspired by crystal aesthetics, while the purple, white, and grey variants reflect his design vision. The device also supports stylish accessories like a leather sling or pearl strap, positioning it as both a smartphone and a fashion statement.
For durability, the phone uses a 50μm UTG coating and an aerospace-grade titanium alloy hinge, delivering an almost crease-free inner display. It carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance and is SGS Premium Certified for drop protection. Powering it all is a 5500mAh silicon-carbon battery, promising exceptional endurance for a flip phone.
