HONOR Robot Phone launched with 6.31-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Dual 200MP cameras, Titanium Gimbal, ARRI Log-C encoding

HONOR has officially launched the world's first AI robot smartphone, the HONOR Robot Phone, at an event in China. The device combines advanced camera technology with proactive AI capabilities, positioning it as a unique flagship aimed at photography and intelligent user experiences.
Design, Display, and Hardware
The HONOR Robot Phone is available in two finishes: Star Trail Silver and Moon Shadow Gray. It measures just 9.59mm thick and weighs 248g.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, and reaches up to 6,800 nits peak brightness, while HBM brightness is rated at 2,000 nits. An anti-reflective coating helps improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions, and the display also supports 4320Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming.
Under the hood, the Robot Phone is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The smartphone is backed by a large 7,060mAh battery.

Industry-First Titanium Gimbal Camera System
The most distinctive feature of the HONOR Robot Phone is its advanced camera system. HONOR has developed an industry-first titanium alloy gimbal architecture using aerospace-grade titanium alloy. The design reportedly reduces the gimbal module’s volume by 65% compared with conventional smartphone gimbal systems.
The gimbal is powered by a dedicated titanium alloy motor capable of rotational speeds of up to 360° per second, enabling precise camera movement and improved stabilization during photography and video recording.

The main gimbal-mounted camera uses a 200MP 1/1.28-inch sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a 23mm equivalent focal length. The rear camera setup also includes:
- 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera: 122° field of view with an f/2.2 aperture and 2.5cm macro photography support.
- 200MP periscope telephoto camera: 1/1.4-inch sensor, 2.7x optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture, OIS, and up to 200x digital zoom.
Image processing is handled by HONOR’s proprietary HONOR Driving Light H1 imaging chip. The camera app introduces a Master Cinema mode, making the Robot Phone the first smartphone to directly integrate ARRI Log-C encoding and LUT color-grading files. It also supports C-Log and custom LUT formats.
Professional camera controls include focus lock, white balance lock, Auto Exposure (AE) lock, and camera movement data lock. The camera system also uses real-time sensing, motion compensation, AI subject tracking, automatic video editing, and intelligent framing to maintain stable footage during complex movements.
YOYO Pro and AI Integration
The HONOR Robot Phone introduces the new YOYO Pro mode, designed to perform complex multi-step tasks with minimal user intervention. According to HONOR, the AI assistant can understand extended, multi-stage commands and execute up to 100 consecutive automated operations.
YOYO Pro also incorporates emotional recognition capabilities designed to understand user sentiment, habits, and surrounding conditions. Based on this contextual information, the system can provide proactive suggestions and assistance.
Users can further expand YOYO Pro’s functionality by downloading specialized tasks and capabilities through the integrated Skill Store.
