HONOR is preparing to launch its latest smartphone, the HONOR X70 series in China later this month, and key specifications of the X70 have now surfaced, a successor to last year’s HONOR X60.

The standout feature is a massive 8300mAh silicon-carbon battery, which would make it the largest of its kind in a smartphone, even surpassing the 8000mAh battery in the recent HONOR Power. Despite this, the phone reportedly weighs just 193 grams and measures only 7.7mm thick. It is also expected to support 80W fast charging.

Additionally, the 512GB variant is said to include wireless charging, potentially making it one of the first in its segment to offer this feature. Under the hood, the device is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, replacing the Dimensity 7025 Ultra used in the previous model. The HONOR X70 is also expected to sport a 6.79-inch 1.5K flat display with slim bezels, suggesting the possibility of an OLED panel.
