HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max launched Globally with 13.2-inch 3K 144Hz Flexible OLED PaperMatte display, 10,400 mAh Battery

HUAWEI has launched its latest flagship tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro Max for global markets. Built using the company’s Cloud Falcon Architecture, the tablet features a premium full-metal unibody design. It measures just 4.7 mm at its slimmest point and weighs around 499 g. The device has also received TÜV Rheinland Ultra-thin Bending Resistance Certification.

The tablet sports a luminous rear panel that shifts its appearance depending on lighting conditions. On the front, it features a 13.2-inch Flexible OLED PaperMatte display with ultra-slim 3.55 mm bezels and a 94% screen-to-body ratio. The screen offers a 3000 × 2000 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1600 nits peak brightness, and a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

HUAWEI says the PaperMatte display uses nano-level etching technology to minimize glare and improve readability, while TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 5.0 certification ensures eye comfort. The company also claims the display delivers 20% clearer visuals.

Software and productivity features -

The MatePad Pro Max runs HarmonyOS 4.3 and brings several PC-like productivity tools. Its Live Multitask feature allows users to run up to three apps simultaneously for easier multitasking and content comparison.

The tablet also comes with PC-level WPS Office AI support, enabling document editing, spreadsheets, PDF handling, and presentation creation. AI-powered features can generate drafts from prompts, organize ideas into structured outlines, and build presentations with customizable templates, tones, and styles.

HUAWEI Notes includes AI handwriting enhancement, equation recognition, and centralized document management. Meanwhile, the GoPaint app offers professional-grade drawing tools, including splatter and fluid brushes for digital artwork and sketching.

For thermal management, the tablet includes:

• Dual-layer VC cooling with a centrally positioned mainboard

The optional Glide Keyboard transforms the tablet into a laptop-like setup with a precision hinge, large touchpad, and 1.8 mm key travel. The keyboard also includes stain-resistant keys and is built using lightweight alloy materials, weighing 439 g with 122% improved stiffness. It comes in Black and White color options.

The HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro features a hexagonal body design with a Star Ring breathing light. It supports multiple pen tips for writing and drawing tasks.
