HUAWEI nova 15, nova 15 Pro and nova 15 Ultra launched with up to 6.84-inch 120Hz OLED display, Kirin8020/9010s SoC

HUAWEI has officially launched its latest smartphones in the nova 15 series, the Huawei nova 15, nova 15 Pro, and nova 15 Ultra in China, continuing the brand’s three-device strategy from the previous generation.

HUAWEI nova 15 -

The Nova 15 measures 161.87 × 75.5 × 7.2 mm, weighs 196 grams, and is offered in Green, Purple, White, and Black colour options. It features a 6.7-inch TrueColor flat OLED display with a 2412 × 1084 resolution, 2160Hz PWM dimming, SGS drop-resistance certification, AI HDR, and AI eye-care features such as fatigue reminders and visual health tracking.

The smartphone carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and is powered by the Kirin 8020 chipset. It packs a 6,000mAh silicon-based battery with 100W Super Fast Charge Turbo, delivering up to 23 hours of long-video playback and 20 hours of short-video playback. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB variants.

All nova 15 series smartphones run HarmonyOS 6, bringing a refreshed set of Xiaoyi AI features. Everyday tasks such as check-ins, rewards, and reminders can be completed with a single tap or automated to run in the background. Users can also convert static photos into dynamic poster cards and sync them with Xiaoyi Photo Studio for use as HUAWEI account avatars.

The system introduces collaborative themes, including ROBBi with animated IP visuals and customizable colour options. It also supports wallpaper-based stylised themes and mood text that adapts dynamically to emotional states. With one-touch sharing, users can quickly transfer photos, themes, contacts, and apps between compatible devices.

For communication, the Nova 15 series offers AI-powered two-way call noise reduction with voiceprint filtering and generative AI repair for clearer calls. Connectivity enhancements include Wi-Fi 7 on the nova 15, Wi-Fi 7+ on the Pro and Ultra models, AI 5A networking, StarFlash audio retrieval, and BeiDou satellite messaging. The Nova 15 Ultra further adds TianTong satellite calling and offline Changlian communication. The lineup also carries multiple five-star certifications for signal strength and call quality.
