HUAWEI P60 Pro and Mate X3 foldable launched Globally with FHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC
HUAWEI has launched its latest flagship smartphones the HUAWEI P60 Pro and Mate X3 foldable in the Global market after these were launched back in March in China. The Company was introduced at the “Flagship Product Launch” event in Munich, Germany, but There’s no word about the global launch of P60 Pro Art and P60 that were introduced in China, even though those are listed on the global site.
HUAWEI P60 Pro -
HUAWEI P60 Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED quad-curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO (1-120Hz) technology, 300Hz touch sampling rate, P3 color gamut, and also a 1.07 billion color display with support 1,440Hz PWM dimming. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G version with up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage, and is based on EMUI 3.1. It supports IP68 ratings for water resistance and features a two-way Beidou satellite messaging feature.
The P60 series has a triple rear camera setup where the 48MP Super-spotting primary camera with F1.4-F4.0 ten steps variable physical aperture along with a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 48MP super-spotting night vision telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom, and a 13MP front-facing punch-hole camera.
The HUAWEI P60 Pro is powered by a 4815mAh that supports up to 88W fast charging and also comes with 50W wireless charging support.

HUAWEI Mate X3 -
HUAWEI also launched its foldable smartphone the HUAWEI Mate x3 in the Global market along with P60 Pro. It has a 7.85-inch OLED screen on the inside with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and the external display has a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 1-120Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate.
It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G version with 12GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage and is based on EMUI 3.1, which adds useful features like a split-screen mode for video calls and video watching and a new nightstand mode that shows the weather and time. It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera along with a 13MP ultra wide-angle, 12MP 5X telephoto lens, and an 8MP front-facing camera on the inner and outer screen.
The company says that it has used a “new generation of double-rotation water drop hinge,” and the hinge supports the phone in multiple angles for those no-tripod selfies. It features IPX8 water resistance, impact resistance inner screen, and outer screen made of Kunlun glass. There’s also support for two-way Beidou satellite messaging. It’s unclear whether the firm will implement the same on global versions. The phone is powered by a 4800mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging.

Pricing and Availability -
The HUAWEI P60 Pro comes in Rococo Pearl and Black colors, and the HUAWEI Mate X3 comes in Dark Green and Black colors. Both smartphones will be available on the official HUAWEI online shop and select merchants. The P60 is already available in Europe and the UK, while the Mate X3 will be available in Europe on May 22nd and in the UK on May 26th.
