Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 24,999 with 6.76-inch 144Hz display, IP68 ratings, 6000mAh battery
Infinix has launched its latest smartphone in the HOT series, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G in India, as announced. It has a high-refresh-rate display, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, Sony camera sensor, and a large battery with fast charging support.
Design and Build
The Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G measures 79.54 x 166.85 x 7.85mm and weighs 204 grams. It comes with an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, dual microphones, a bottom-firing speaker, and Dolby Atmos support.
Display
The smartphone features a 6.76-inch Full HD+ flat LCD screen with a resolution of 2344 x 1080 pixels. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling. It offers 760 nits of typical brightness and up to 910 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM).
Performance and Hardware
The Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, built on a 6nm process. The octa-core chipset reaches speeds of up to 2.4GHz and is paired with a Mali-G610 GPU.
The device is available with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can also be expanded through a microSD card.
On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 16 with Infinix's XOS 16 user interface.
Cameras
The Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear camera with an f/1.79 aperture and LED flash. The rear camera supports video recording at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.
For selfies and video calls, the phone comes with an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also supports 2K video recording at 30fps.
Battery and Charging
The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It also supports 10W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to charge other compatible devices.
Connectivity
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA with support for 20 bands, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC.

The Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G is available in Silk Glow Purple, Dive Blue, Thermo Orange, and Mirage Green. It will go on sale in India starting September 7 through Flipkart and the Infinix India online store.
