iQOO 15 to be Launched in India in November with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, OriginOS 6

iQOO has announced that the iQOO 15 flagship smartphone will launch in India in November, shortly after its China debut scheduled for October 20th. This was confirmed by Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India. The iQOO 15 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, making it one of the first devices in India to feature the chip. It will also be the first iQOO phone to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box, following its global launch yesterday.

In China, iQOO confirmed that the device will sport a 6.85-inch 2K+ 144Hz Samsung flat display with M14 luminescent material, 508 PPI, Dolby Vision, and an instantaneous 3200Hz touch sampling rate, along with a Q3 chip optimized for 2K resolution and 144FPS gaming.

Earlier reports suggest the iQOO 15 will feature a 50MP 1/1.5″ IMX9 series main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX8 series 3x periscope telephoto camera capable of up to 100x zoom. Other expected features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, enclosed symmetrical dual speakers, a 091640 X-axis linear motor, and a 7000mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging as well as wireless charging.

The phone will likely be available through Amazon.in and the iQOO India online store.
