Itel A100 launched in India starting at Rs. 6,799 with 6.6-inch 90Hz display, military-grade durability
itel has launched its latest budget smartphone in the affordable A-series lineup, the itel A100 in India. The new model succeeds last year’s itel A90 and stands out by offering MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, a feature rarely seen in this price segment.
The itel A100 sports a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, along with a Dynamic Bar that delivers real-time alerts such as battery status, incoming calls, and notifications without disrupting usage. It also includes an IR blaster for controlling TVs, air conditioners, and other home appliances, complemented by DTS-enhanced audio.
Under the hood, the smartphone continues to use the UNISOC T7100 chipset, paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM, expandable with up to 8GB of virtual RAM. It runs on Android 15 Go Edition. For photography, the device features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, while a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support handles daily power needs.
