LG CineBeam S 4K UST Projector launched Globally with up to 100-inch Screen, Compact Design, Dolby Atmos
LG has begun the global rollout of its compact 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector, the CineBeam S (model PU615U), following its debut at CES earlier this year. Succeeding the CineBeam Q, this new model is designed to offer a space-saving yet high-quality home entertainment experience.
Utilizing UST technology, the CineBeam S can project a 40-inch image from just 8.1 cm away and scale up to a 100-inch display at a distance of 39.3 cm. Its compact form factor—measuring 110×160×160 mm and weighing only 1.9 kg—makes it ideal for small spaces, eliminating the need for complex mounting or long throw distances.
On the performance front, the projector delivers 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160) powered by an RGB laser light source that covers 154% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It offers a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens and a high contrast ratio of 450,000:1. Built-in stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support for an immersive sound experience handle audio.
Running on LG’s webOS smart TV platform, the CineBeam S provides access to popular streaming services. It supports connectivity through one HDMI port, two USB Type-C ports, and wireless options such as AirPlay 2 and Screen Share for easy pairing with smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
To ease setup, the projector includes Auto Screen Adjustment for image alignment, as well as Screen Scaling & Shifting for digital fine-tuning without repositioning the device. A Wall Color Adjustment feature ensures optimal image quality even when projecting on colored surfaces. Users can control the projector via a newly designed remote or the LG ThinQ app. The device boasts a sleek, metallic exterior that complements modern interiors.
