Micromax Canvas Fun A63 now available for Rs. 6799
The new Micromax Canvas Fun A63 is now available online for Rs. 6799. The Fun A63 is a part of a trio with the Fun A74 and Fun A76. The canvas Fun A63 is the lowest costing model of the bunch with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3Ghz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (2GB available) which is thankfully expandable, running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Connectivity options on the Fun A63 are pretty standard and consist of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack and micro USB for data syncing and charging.
The big letdown at this price is the paltry 2MP camera which for some inexplicable reason also has a flash. Then there's the 0.3Mp front camera which too is nothing to brag about. We expected the price to be somewhere around Rs. 5000 to be competitive, but it seems Micromax is hell bent on trying to tax its brand value, which at present considering such devices has reached absolute zero.
The Canvas Fun A63 is now available from Snapdeal for Rs. 6799 which is a bit much considering its entry level specs and that there's nothing special about the device.
