Microsoft Surface Laptop 5G launched with 13.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz Touch Screen, Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, NanoSIM & eSIM Support
Microsoft has officially unveiled the Surface Laptop 5G, tailored for business users, following a teaser earlier this year. This premium laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors and features integrated 5G connectivity with support for both NanoSIM and eSIM.
One of its key innovations is a dynamic antenna system designed to deliver reliable and adaptive connectivity. Microsoft explains that the laptop uses six strategically positioned antennas that adjust signal paths and power in real-time, based on how the device is held or used. This ensures robust signal strength and consistent performance in varied environments.
The Surface Laptop 5G also functions as a mobile hotspot, enabling other devices to access its high-speed 5G connection. It shares several hardware elements with the Surface Laptop 7, including a 13.8-inch touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, Dolby Vision IQ, and Adaptive Color Technology for vibrant visuals.
It includes AI-powered hardware enhancements such as a Full HD Surface Studio Camera, AI-enhanced audio with Omnisonic speakers and Dolby Atmos, and a large haptic precision touchpad. Typing has also been improved with optimized key travel.
