Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Laptop Copilot+ PCs launched Globally with New Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus Processors
Microsoft has just launched its latest Copilot+ PCs, including the all-new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop.
Surface Pro 11th Edition (2024) -
The latest Surface Pro is a 2-in-1 device equipped with Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors, along with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. It offers a 90% performance increase over the Surface Pro 9 and supports up to three external 4K displays via two USB 4 ports.
The 13-inch display now features an optional OLED with HDR for enhanced brightness and color. It also includes Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G connectivity, and Bluetooth v5.4. The device has a quad-HD front-facing camera with AI-powered Windows Studio Effects for Automatic Framing and a 10MP Ultra HD rear-facing camera supporting 4K video.
Memory options include 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, and storage options are 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB removable Gen 4 SSD. The 2W stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos, and it comes with a 39W power supply, supporting up to 65W. Made from 72% recycled materials, the Surface Pro features replaceable components like the motherboard and battery. It also includes a kickstand with a 165-degree hinge.
The new Surface Pro Flex Keyboard is designed for both attached and detached use, with a larger, customizable haptic touchpad and integrated pen storage. The upgraded Surface Slim Pen offers AI experiences, Zero Force inking, precise shading, 4,096 pressure sensitivity points, and a built-in haptic engine.

Surface Laptop 7th Edition (2024) -
The new Surface Laptop showcases a modern design with a PixelSense touchscreen available in 13.8-inch and 15-inch sizes. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, Dolby Vision IQ, and Adaptive Color Technology.
Powered by Snapdragon X Plus and Snapdragon X Elite processors with Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, it is 86% faster than the Laptop 5. It supports up to three external 4K monitors and offers up to 22 hours of battery life on the 15-inch model and up to 20 hours on the 13.8-inch model. Memory options include 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB removable Gen 4 SSD. The 13.8-inch model uses a 39W adapter, while the 15-inch model uses a 65W adapter.
It includes a Full HD Surface Studio Camera with AI-powered Windows Studio Effects and AI-enhanced sound with Omnisonic Speakers and Dolby Atmos. The typing experience is improved with optimized key travel and a large precision haptic touchpad.

Designed with sustainability in mind, they feature recycled aluminum alloy, recycled rare-earth metal magnets, and carbon-free electricity in manufacturing. The Surface Pro 11th Edition is available in Black and Platinum, while the Surface Laptop 7th Edition comes in Platinum, Black, Dune, and Sapphire.
