Moto X (2017) leaks in live images, shows front fingerprint sensor, metal body
Lenovo had already clarified that there will be a Moto X smartphone sometime in the future, and now we may have a glimpse as to what it may look like. The Moto X (2017) sports a round camera module at the back similar to the Moto Z series but lacks the pins at the bottom to make it compatible with Moto Mods.
Another change is the somewhat oval fingerprint sensor in the front. The new Moto X seems to made entirely of metal with a slightly curved back. Coming to the front you can see the Moto branding above the display, and it seems that the Moto X 2017 would be a sub 5.5-inch smartphone.
We have seen various prototypes of the alleged Moto X on the interweb, but this leak seems to be legit, given the design language Lenovo has been going for with the Moto series. These images do show an amalgamation of design with the Moto M and Moto Z series. The Moto M will be making its way to India later this month.
Lenovo is expected to launch the Moto X 2017 early next year.
