Motorola Edge 50 ultra launching in India Soon with 6.7-inch 1.5K 144Hz pOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC
Motorola India has released the initial teaser for the impending launch of the Edge 50 Ultra, the company's latest flagship smartphone. Although introduced in April, only the Edge 50 Pro and the Edge 50 Fusion have been launched in India over the past two months.
Through the teaser, the company has verified the arrival of the Nordic Wood variant of the phone in India, with expectations for the Forest Grey and Peach Fuzz color options as well.
Just as a refresher, the phone boasts a 6.7-inch 1.5K 144Hz 10-bit OLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. However, it remains unclear if a more affordable version will be offered to mitigate costs.
The phone features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with macro capability, a 64MP 3X portrait telephoto lens, and a 50MP autofocus front camera. It holds an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and is equipped with a 4500mAh battery supporting 125W TurboPower charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The launch date for the phone in India is anticipated to be announced soon, likely occurring in late June.
