Motorola edge 70 fusion launched Globally with 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz curved OLED display, 7000mAh battery; FIFA World Cup 26™ Edition Also Announced

Motorola has launched its latest smartphone in the Edge 70 series, the Motorola Edge 70 fusion in the global market, bringing a refreshed design language, next-generation Sony imaging sensors, and an expanded suite of on-device AI capabilities. Alongside the standard model, the company has introduced a special FIFA World Cup 26™ Collection edition aimed at fans of the global tournament.
Design and Durability -
The edge 70 fusion adopts a refined quad-curve design, where the front glass seamlessly flows into the rear panel, eliminating sharp edges for a smoother and more ergonomic profile. It features premium nylon- and linen-inspired textured finishes and is offered in curated Pantone shades — PANTONE Orient Blue, PANTONE Sporting Green, and PANTONE Silhouette — each complemented by color-accented camera detailing.

Despite its slim and lightweight construction, Motorola has prioritized durability. The smartphone includes:
- IP69 and IP68 ratings for enhanced dust and water resistance
- MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade durability
- Corning® Gorilla® Glass 7i protection for the display
Camera System -
The edge 70 fusion becomes the first smartphone to feature the Sony LYTIA™ 710 sensor. The camera setup is powered by “moto ai” and a dedicated Photo Enhancement Engine that stabilizes shots and applies customized aesthetic adjustments.
Camera hardware includes:
- Primary Camera - 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 710 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
- Secondary Camera - 13MP ultra-wide and macro lens with a 122° field of view
- Front Camera - 32MP selfie camera with 4K video recording support
Display and Audio -
The device sports a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with 1.5K Super HD resolution. It is the first smartphone to combine a 144Hz quad-curved panel with Pantone Validated™ Color certification. With a peak brightness of up to 5200 nits, the display ensures excellent outdoor visibility.
For audio, the Edge 70 Fusion features dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support and Dolby Atmos® integration for immersive sound output.
Performance and Battery -
Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, designed to deliver smooth everyday performance while efficiently handling built-in AI functionalities.
- Battery Capacity - 5200mAh / 7000mAh options offering up to 39 / 52 hours of usage
- Charging - 68W TurboPower™ fast charging support
- Additional Feature - Reverse power sharing to charge compatible devices
AI Capabilities -
Motorola has deeply integrated “moto ai” into the user experience to enable real-time assistance and content generation. Key features include:
- Next Move - Analyzes on-screen content to provide contextual suggestions, research assistance, and recommended actions
- Generative Tools - Playlist Studio and Image Studio allow users to create custom playlists, wallpapers, and stickers
- Smart Voice Prompts - Commands such as “Catch me up,” “Pay attention,” and “Remember this” help summarize information and improve productivity
FIFA World Cup 26™ Collection Edition -

In addition to the standard model, Motorola has launched a FIFA World Cup 26™ Collection edition of the edge 70 fusion. This special variant features a football-inspired leather-textured back panel and 24K gold-plated detailing on the Motorola Batwing logo and FIFA branding.
The edition also includes exclusive FIFA World Cup 26™ themed wallpapers, ringtones, and custom software tools. The official FIFA World Cup™ App comes preinstalled, along with direct access to FIFA® Heroes, a new mobile game for which Motorola serves as the exclusive smartphone partner.
