Motorola edge 70 Ultra Press Images Surface Online revealing Periscope telephoto camera; Expected launch at MWC 2026

Motorola is working on its next flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, internally known by the codename “Urus”, which is expected to usher in a major brand refresh for Motorola, potentially debuting as the first smartphone under the new premium “Motorola Signature” lineup.
Leaked press renders shared by @evleaks showcase a premium-looking design in Carbon and Martini Olive colour options. The phone appears to feature an upgraded metal camera module and a textured rear panel, distinguishing it from the Edge 50 Ultra, which was launched in 2024.
According to rumours, the device will feature a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, ultra-slim bezels, and a sleek profile. Camera capabilities are tipped to be a key highlight, with a triple rear camera setup led by a Sony Lytia primary sensor, supported by an ultra-wide lens and a periscope telephoto camera. Both the rear cameras and the front-facing camera are expected to feature 50MP sensors.
Powering the smartphone could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a slightly underclocked version compared to the Elite variant, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and running Android 16 out of the box. The Motorola Edge 70 Ultra is anticipated to make its official debut at MWC 2026 in March.
