The Motorola Razr 50, the entry-level model in the lineup, receives a significant design upgrade. Unlike its predecessor, the Razr 40, which had only a 1.5″ outer display, the Razr 50 boasts a large 3.63” pOLED screen. The display bezels are symmetrical, with curved edges around the body, and the device is expected to feature a leather finish on the back, providing a premium look and feel.
When unfolded, the Razr 50 features a 6.9″ pOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP secondary lens, as well as a 13MP front camera housed in a center punch hole.
The Razr 50, possibly branded as the Moto Razr 2024 in the US, is expected to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G SoC, run Android 14 OS, and come with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4200mAh battery. It will weigh only 188g.
The Razr 50 is expected to be priced at EUR 899 (approximately USD 979 or Rs. 81,591).
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra / Moto Razr+ 2024 -
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra shares a similar design to the Razr 50 but includes a slightly larger 4″ pOLED outer display. It is expected to come in green, peach, and blue colors, featuring a leather finish and curved edges around the corners.
The device will have a 6.9″ inner display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels, similar to the Razr 50, but with a higher refresh rate of 165Hz. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The dual-camera setup will include 50MP wide-angle and 50MP 2x telephoto lenses, complemented by a 32MP front camera.
The Razr 50 Ultra will feature a 4000mAh battery, USB-C wired charging, wireless charging, eSIM support, IPX8 water resistance, a fingerprint reader, and facial recognition. It will run on Android 14 with Hello UI, offering AI-powered photo and video capture and editing tools.
The Razr 50 Ultra (Razr+ 2024) is expected to be priced at USD 999 (approximately Rs. 83,215) in the U.S. and EUR 1200 (approximately USD 1,307 or Rs. 1,08,909) in Europe for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Both smartphones are anticipated to be released globally in June.
