Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition launched at Rs. 29,999 with Glow-In-The-Dark Rear Design, Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC
Nothing has launched a special edition in the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition, following through on its earlier announcement. This model shares similar specifications and design with the standard Phone (2a) Plus but incorporates community-designed features, chosen from over 900 submissions across 47 countries over a six-month period.
The phone includes green-tinted phosphorescent material on the back, allowing parts of the phone to emit a soft glow in the dark. This glow, resembling fireflies, is functional as well, helping users locate their phone in low light or signal their presence, according to the company.
Six unique wallpapers, crafted by community members, come pre-loaded on the phone. These wallpapers illustrate connections within the community through a motif of machine connectors, depicting cables, pipes, microchips, and other components within a transparent shell, symbolizing the complexity and unity of the community.
The packaging draws on Nothing's design philosophy, with a 3D representation of the phone glowing in the dark. It emphasizes texture and intricate details, enhanced by reflective elements to add visual interest.
This creative concept centers on discovering personal inspiration and clarity, with the firefly and its illuminated path symbolizing the potential to shine even in darkness. The slogan, "community spirit," reinforces the theme that finding strength in community can help each person discover and express their unique spark.
