OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 to be Launched on December 17 During OnePlus’ 12th Anniversary Event in Bengaluru Palace

OnePlus has confirmed that it will introduce its latest products, the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2, at a live keynote event in Bengaluru, India, on December 17th. The launch coincides with the brand’s 12th anniversary and will be streamed globally.

Ahead of the event, the company has shared key details about the camera, performance, and display capabilities of both devices.

OnePlus 15R Specifications -

The OnePlus 15R is the newest entry in the brand’s performance-driven R Series. Key hardware highlights include:

• Performance - The phone features a “triple-chip” design and becomes the first global device to debut the co-developed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It also includes a custom G2 Wi-Fi chip for enhanced connectivity and a dedicated Touch Response Chip to minimize input latency.
• Display - It sports a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 450 ppi, and brightness levels ranging from 1800 nits peak to as low as 2 nits (1 nit with Reduce White Point).
• Camera - Powered by the Detailmax Engine, the camera system uses advanced computational photography similar to the standard OnePlus 15. Features include Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst, and Clear Night Engine.
• Durability - For the first time in the R Series, the 15R is equipped with extensive IP ratings — IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K — offering robust protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets.

The device will be available via Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and offline retailers after launch.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Features -

OnePlus also detailed the features of its new mid-range tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go 2.

• Display - It comes with a 12.1-inch (30.73 cm) 2.8K display offering 284 ppi, 900-nit peak brightness, 98% DCI-P3 color coverage, and Dolby Vision support. The screen has TÜV Rheinland Smart Care 4.0 certification.
• Stylus Support - The tablet supports the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, suitable for note-taking, sketching, and creative work.
• Connectivity - A 5G variant is confirmed for the 8GB + 256GB Shadow Black model to support users who need mobile connectivity.
• Multitasking - It runs on the Open Canvas system, optimized for split-screen multitasking and productivity.

The tablet will be sold through Amazon.in, Flipkart, the OnePlus India online store, and offline partners.

12th Anniversary Highlights -

To celebrate its 12th anniversary, OnePlus founder Pete Lau has published a community letter reflecting on the brand’s journey and future direction.

The company also launched OnePlus Run 2.0, a browser-based game starring mascot Una, giving high scorers a chance to win the upcoming OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2, and OnePlus 15.

Additionally, OnePlus unveiled new “Celebrations Una” collectibles in festive Diwali (Kurta Pyjama) and Christmas (Scottish tartan) themes.
