OnePlus Ace 6T launched with 6.83-inch 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 8300mAh battery

OnePlus has launched its latest smartphone in the Ace series, the OnePlus Ace 6T in China, delivering on its earlier promise. It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and intelligent switching across 60/90/120/144/165Hz. It also incorporates the next-generation “Bright Eye Protection” technology and is certified with the “Little Gold Label” eye protection standard.

The phone supports native 165fps gameplay in popular FPS titles like Delta Force, Crossfire, Dark Zone, and Call of Duty. The Wind Chaser Game Kernel brings three key enhancements: unlimited 165fps full-frame performance, industry-leading 1% low-frame stability, and upgraded GPU rendering for super-frame output. Honor of Kings also receives native 144fps support.

The Ace 6T becomes the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, along with OnePlus’ self-developed Gaming Network Chip G2 and a custom touch chip supporting an impressive 3200Hz touch sampling rate.

Thermal performance gets a major boost with the new Glacier VC cooling system, doubling heat dissipation speed, expanding vapor-liquid cooling space by 43%, and increasing capillary water absorption by 100%. The setup also uses Glacier Graphite and Glacier Thermal Gel, improving both heat dissipation and conductivity by 50%. The total cooling area reaches 43,940mm²—the largest ever on a OnePlus device. A Glacier Aerogel layer, aerospace-grade aluminum frame, and Glacier Back Cover keep the phone cool on all sides during gaming.

OnePlus is also offering a OnePlus Ace 6T Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Limited Edition, featuring an exclusive Snowy Blue design, elegant Ayaka-inspired details, customized UI elements, and a special boot animation. It arrives in a themed suitcase box with accessories including a unique SIM ejector tool, a custom phone case, character cards, a themed charging kit, a plush toy, and other collectibles.

The Ace 6T is rated IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K for comprehensive dust and water resistance. It includes Rain Touch 2.0 and OPPO Crystal Shield Glass. For photography, the device uses a 50MP Sony IMX906 flagship main sensor with OIS and OPPO’s advanced imaging algorithms.

Powering the phone is an 8300mAh Glacier Battery—the largest battery capacity among performance flagships—paired with a 100W Super Flash Charge that takes it from 1% to 50% in just 23 minutes. It also supports 55W PPS charging, bypass power supply, and wired reverse charging.

OnePlus Ace 6T comes in Phantom Green and Flash Black, using flagship-grade silk glass for a premium look, while Electric Purple adopts flagship fiberglass for a lightweight, durable finish with a gradient Ace logo.

The OnePlus Ace 6T is now available for pre-orders and will go on sale in China starting December 5th, with a 200 yuan discount available during the first sale. The Genshin Impact Edition will be available from December 22nd.

The phone is set to launch globally, including in India, as the OnePlus 15R, on December 17th, and is expected to come with slightly different camera specifications.
