OnePlus is announcing something new on August 25
OnePlus is getting ready to launch a new product on August 25th, which would most likely not be a smartphone. The video teaser suggests something audio related may be in the offing, which does hint at OnePlus Icons V2.
The OnePlus Icons were the company's premium earphones launched last year for a price of $49.99 (Rs. 2999) and they did sound good especially given the price. Given the spinning record and what seems like the back of an earphone in the middle, we would bet on new Icons.
Or, we may be in for a surprise and OnePlus may jump into a new product category. But one thing is for certain we are not going to see a new smartphone from the company on August 25, especially when the OnePlus 3 is just a few months old.
