OnePlus N6 Launching in India on June 30 as the First N Series Smartphone Under Rs.25,000

OnePlus has officially announced a new addition to its smartphone portfolio in India with the introduction of the N Series, a lineup aimed at the ₹18,000 to ₹25,000 price segment, after teasers. The first smartphone in this category, the OnePlus N6, is set to make its debut on June 30.
The launch marks a strategic expansion for OnePlus in India, one of the world's largest smartphone markets, which recorded more than 152 million smartphone shipments in 2025. Through the new N Series, the company aims to strengthen its presence across multiple price segments and appeal to a wider audience.
OnePlus Adopts a Three-Tier Smartphone Strategy
With the arrival of the N Series, OnePlus will organize its smartphone portfolio into three clearly defined categories, enabling the brand to serve consumers ranging from budget-conscious buyers to premium flagship users.
| Product Series | Price Segment | Target Audience & Focus |
| N Series | ₹18,000 - ₹25,000 | Designed for Gen Z and the "neo" generation, focusing on long battery life, reliable everyday performance, and affordability. |
| Nord Series | ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 | Targets aspirational users by bringing flagship-inspired features to the mid-range segment. |
| Flagship Series | ₹50,000 and above | Caters to premium consumers with cutting-edge performance, premium design, and advanced innovations. |
Focused on India’s Gen Z Consumers
The N Series has been specifically developed with younger consumers in mind. India currently has an estimated 377 million Gen Z individuals, a demographic that accounts for roughly 44% of smartphone purchases nationwide.
According to industry trends, younger users increasingly rely on smartphones as their primary devices for content creation, online learning, entertainment, social engagement, and casual gaming. OnePlus says the "N" in N Series stands for "New, Neo, and Never Off," reflecting the lineup’s emphasis on large batteries, dependable performance, and all-day usability.
Expanded Service and Retail Network
The introduction of the N Series follows several operational enhancements made by OnePlus in India. Earlier this year, the company streamlined its retail strategy and expanded its after-sales support network. Leveraging the infrastructure of its parent company, OPPO, OnePlus increased its service center network from 400 to 500 locations across the country.
Like other OnePlus smartphones, the upcoming OnePlus N6 will be available through Amazon India, the official OnePlus India online store, and authorized offline retail outlets. Additional details regarding the device’s specifications, pricing, and availability are expected to be revealed ahead of its official launch on June 30.
