OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 launched in India starting from Rs.31,999 with up to 6.83-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3/Dimensity 8350 Apex, up to 7100mAh battery

OnePlus has launched its latest smartphones in the Nord 5 series, the Oneplus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 in India, as promised. The Nord CE5 features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Nord 5 boasts a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a smoother 144Hz refresh rate.

The Nord 5 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, offering a slight upgrade over the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 found in its predecessor, and the Nord CE5 runs on the new Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC. both comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

According to OnePlus, the Nord 5 can deliver sustained 144 FPS gaming for up to five hours on popular titles like BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Free Fire. It also features the segment’s largest 7,300 mm² VC cooling system, with a total heat dissipation area of 32,207 mm². In the camera department, it sports a 50MP primary sensor (Sony LYT-700) with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and for the first time in the series, a 50MP front-facing camera.

The OnePlus CE5 highlights its advanced CryoVelocity VC cooling system, which includes a graphene-based composite vapor chamber with a total area of 7,041 mm²—one of the largest in its segment. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor (Sony LYT-600), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone supports up to 120FPS gameplay in titles such as BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile.

Replacing the traditional three-stage alert slider is the new "Plus" key, first introduced on the OnePlus 13s. This customizable button offers quick access to sound modes (Sound, Vibration, and Do Not Disturb), AI features, and user-defined actions.

Both phones are running on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15, promised to receive 4 years of Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates. Google Gemini integration is also included, and eligible OnePlus users will get a complimentary three-month trial of Google AI Pro.

The Nord 5 houses a massive 6800mAh battery, and Nord CE5 has a massive 7,100mAh battery, the largest ever in a OnePlus smartphone. Both support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of reaching 100% in under an hour. It also supports bypass charging and comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
