OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V to be launched on January 8 with Snapdragon Chips and Massive 9000mAh Battery

OnePlus has officially announced that it will launch the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V smartphones under the OnePlus Turbo series in China on January 8, following rumors. Highlighting the devices’ focus, the company stated that they deliver “exceptionally powerful performance with extraordinarily long battery life.”

The OnePlus Turbo 6 will be available in Lone Black, Silver, and Wilderness Green colour options. It will be offered in four configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. Notably, the Silver variant features 3D holographic engraving, creating a dynamic light-and-shadow effect that changes with viewing angles.

During the recent OnePlus Turbo series livestream, the brand confirmed several key specifications of the Turbo 6. These include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series flagship processor, a BOE 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate eye-care display, a massive 9000mAh battery with 27W wired reverse charging support, and advanced durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings.

According to earlier leaks, the device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 165Hz LTPS BOE OLED flat display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, Android 16, and a weight of 217.25g.

The OnePlus Turbo 6V will be offered in Lone Black, Fearless Blue, and Nova White colour options, with configurations including 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. It is said to retain a similar display and battery setup but will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

Reports also suggest that the OnePlus Turbo 6V may debut in India next year as the OnePlus Nord CE6, with minor specification changes.

Regarding the devices, OnePlus China president Louis Jie stated:
