(Update - Could come on Snapdragon 765G) OnePlus Z 5G Smartphone could be announced in July 2020.
Update - A new render has leaked where the OnePlus Z 5G will be run on the latest Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G support instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor as per earlier rumored. More information should surface in the upcoming days.
Earlier - OnePlus has recently launched its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in the Global Market at an online event. But the company doesn't say any word on their mid-range smartphone OnePlus Z at the event. Now, a new render has said that the company could introduce the OnePlus Z smartphone at a separate event in the upcoming months.
According to the Max J. has released a post on their twitter account that says the OnePlus Z will be announced in July 2020 with the sketch of the smartphone show a centered punch-hole camera as compared to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro’s top-left punch-hole. As per previous rumors, the OnePlus Z could be running on MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G processor and if this is true, then Oneplus Z will be the company's first smartphone based on MediaTek 5G chipset.
OnePlus Z has a flat punch-hole display with curved rear glass but this device will not come with a curved display while the display size, and the resolution not known yet. The rumor also reveals that the alert slider and power button to the right, volume rockers to the left, USB Type-C port, and the speaker grille on the bottom.
According to render images, it has a triple rear camera setup in a rectangular module where it could be 48 MP Primary camera along with ultra-wide lens and feature by laser autofocus and a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor.
The other specifications of the device are not known yet and stay tune what OnePlus will offer with the OnePlus Z after the company discontinued its first mid-range smartphone OnePlus X. We should know more details and specifications of the phone in the upcoming days.
