Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a launched in India
Oppo has launched the Quad-HD display bearing Find 7 and its "cheaper" variant the Find 7a in India. Lets have a look at both of them.
Oppo Find 7
Now this is flagship material, it is the first smartphone launched in India with a quad-HD display. The Oppo Find 7 features a 5.5-inch 1440x2560 pixels display with a whopping 538 PPI pixel density, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection running on a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Color OS skin. The Find 7 is just 9.2 mm thick and weighs in at 171 grams.
Oppo Find 7 QHD Specs and Photos
There's a 13 MP camera at the back with Sony's IMX214 stacked-sensor, f/2.0 aperture lens and can stitch a photo to 50 MP using software trickery. It is also capable of saving RAW images to edit later and can take 4K videos. There's a 5 MP front camera as well. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, dual-band WiFi b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. There's a 3000 mAh battery with VOOC fast recharging.
The Oppo Find 7 will be available in white and midnight black colors for Rs. 37,990. It would go on sale in July.
Oppo Find 7a
The Find 7a is just a step below the Find 7 when it comes to specs. It features 5.5-inch 1080p (1080x1920 pixels) display with 403 PPI and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It too is powered by the same chipset, 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor running Android 4.3 with Color OS skin on top.
You have the same 13 MP camera on board, with Sony's IMX214 stacked-sensor, f/2.0 aperture lens with the same software enhancements. It too can capture 50 MP photos, RAW images and 4K videos. There's a 5 MP front-facing camera, with f/2.0 aperture for better low-light performance.
Find 7a however comes with a 2800 mAh battery instead of 3000 mAh on the Find 7. VOOC tech for fast recharging is also available here, capable of charging the phone upto 75% in 30 minutes. The Oppo Find 7 too comes in midnight black and white colors, priced at Rs. 31,990. It would go on sale tomorrow, June 12.
