OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Confirmed to Launch Globally with MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro 2nm

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max with Dimensity 9600 launch teaser global.

OPPO has confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Find X10 Pro Max, will launch in international markets featuring MediaTek’s newly announced Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. The smartphone will be among the first commercial devices to adopt the new system-on-chip (SoC).

    Architecture and Manufacturing

The MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro is built using TSMC’s 2nm N2P process technology. Based on benchmark figures shared by the companies, the move to the new process node delivers up to a 61% improvement in CPU multi-core energy efficiency compared to the previous generation. This improvement is designed to maintain performance during extended computing workloads while better handling the thermal and power requirements of on-device artificial intelligence tasks.

    Core Processing Specifications

The chipset continues to use MediaTek’s All-Big-Core CPU architecture, while introducing a revised core configuration:

    • CPU Configuration: Two prime C2-Ultra cores clocked at up to 4.55GHz, accompanied by six high-performance cores. Overall CPU performance is claimed to improve by approximately 17%.
    • Power Management: Each core supports independent frequency scaling, enabling more precise task distribution across different workloads.
    • Graphics: The integrated G2-Ultra NX GPU introduces hardware ray-tracing improvements and neural graphics rendering capabilities. Sustained GPU throughput is estimated to increase by 27% during demanding graphics workloads.

    Dedicated AI Compute

The Dimensity 9600 Pro features a dual-unit Neural Processing Unit (NPU) architecture that separates workloads according to their processing intensity:

Component Key Performance Metric Primary Workloads
High-Performance NPU +51% Large Language Model (LLM) prefill speed Large-model inference, computational photography
Super Efficient NPU +40% higher power efficiency Background tasks, persistent contextual AI

    System Optimization

The Find X10 Pro Max will also introduce the OPPO Laminar Flow Engine, a proprietary software-hardware integration developed in collaboration with MediaTek. The technology reorganizes low-level rendering pipelines and communicates directly with the chipset’s scheduling framework to reduce latency during high-bandwidth operations, including rapid media playback and app switching.

    Availability

OPPO is expected to reveal regional availability details and the specifications of the Find X10 Pro Max during its upcoming global launch. Meanwhile, the OPPO Find X10 series is scheduled to launch in China on September 22nd.
