OPPO Find X9 Image and Specs Surfaced Online with Rectangular camera design, Dimensity 9500 SoC, Hasselblad partnership
OPPO is working on its upcoming flagship smartphones, the OPPO Find X9 that will feature a rectangular camera module in the top-left corner, replacing the circular design seen on the Find X8, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. He noted that this design offers a more balanced and refined appearance, with an improved texture and feel, and could set the trend for future smartphones.
This time, OPPO has made notable advancements in internal stacking, allowing for higher camera specifications compared to the previous large circular setup. The Find X9 will also come equipped with the Danxia Original Color lens, a feature shared with the X9 Ultra model.
The Find X9 has recently appeared on Geekbench with model number OPPO CPH2791, confirming the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, 16GB RAM, and Android 16 with ColorOS 16. As with the OnePlus 15 running Snapdragon 8 Elite, benchmark scores remain low since this is likely an early test device.
The listing reveals a CPU configuration of 1x 4.21GHz prime core, 3x 3.50GHz cores, and 4x 2.70GHz performance cores, paired with the Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU. Previous leaks have also pointed to a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display and up to 512GB of storage.
Zhou Yibao, head of the OPPO Find series, stated that the Find X9 not only delivers the longest battery life but is also the most powerful standard flagship OPPO has ever produced.
