Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra Appeared on Geekbench listing with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, Android 16, and Sound by Bose

POCO is working on its upcoming F8-series smartphones, the POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra, which were spotted on a Geekbench listing, according to the leak. Both phones could debut much sooner than expected—well ahead of their predecessors’ first anniversary in March. Although the brand hasn’t confirmed anything yet, the early wave of global certification listings strongly suggests that the launches are imminent.
The POCO F8 Pro and F8 Ultra have just appeared on Geekbench, revealing their chipset in the process. As expected, they're powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The tested unit featured 16GB of RAM and ran Android 16. At launch, the phones will almost certainly ship with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 layered on top.

A leaked image allegedly showing a portion of the F8 Pro’s packaging has surfaced, clearly highlighting the inclusion of Bose-tuned audio. With that in mind, it’s certainly plausible that the Poco F8 Pro is essentially a rebadged Redmi K90, while the Poco F8 Ultra mirrors the K90 Pro Max—Poco has taken this approach before.

If so, the phones could feature a 6.9-inch 1200×2608 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500-nit peak brightness, and 2,560Hz PWM dimming, along with up to 1TB of storage. Expected camera hardware includes a triple rear setup with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter, plus a 32MP front camera.
Audio might be handled by a Bose-tuned system with dual stereo speakers and a rear-mounted woofer. Power could come from a 7,560mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
There’s also a rumor that the phones may ship without a charger, though it’s not yet clear whether this applies globally or only to select markets such as Europe. We’ll share more details as they emerge.
