POCO F8 Ultra launched Globally with 6.9-inch 2K 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 2.1ch speakers, Sound by BOSE
POCO has also launched its latest flagship smartphone, the POCO F8 Ultra at an event in Indonesia along with the POCO F8 Pro. It features a 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED flat display with ultra-slim bezels (1.5mm on three sides and 1.68mm at the bottom), up to 3500 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, full-brightness DC dimming, 2560Hz instantaneous touch sampling, and 12-bit color support (68.7 billion colors).
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, the phone comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It also integrates the upgraded VisionBoost D8 chipset, which uses pre-trained AI models to significantly improve image detail and visual quality.
The device supports Smart Frame Rate up to 120FPS, Super Resolution up to 1.5K, and Game HDR, along with AI Super Resolution via the new GEX module. It is specially tuned for games like Call of Duty: Mobile and Honkai: Star Rail. In testing, an RPG title reportedly maintained 120FPS for 4.5 hours with AI Super Resolution and Game HDR enabled, with no performance or visual degradation.
To manage heat, the F8 Ultra uses LiquidCool Technology with a 3D dual-channel, dual-layer IceLoop system, featuring separate convex layers for the mainboard and SoC, plus heat management for the camera module. With a 6700mm² IceLoop area, the system ensures stable performance during extended usage.
Audio is handled by 1115F ultra-linear symmetrical dual speakers paired with a large 1620 independent woofer, forming a 2.1-channel setup that delivers deeper bass, wider soundstage, and enhanced clarity.

Design-wise, it features a rounded-corner frame with aluminum alloy elements. The Denim Blue version uses Xiaomi’s third-generation nano-tech material for durability and resistance to dirt and wear, while the Black model uses glass fiber with a matte-gloss finish for an elegant, secure grip.
The F8 Ultra packs a 6500mAh battery, the largest in the F-series, with 100W HyperCharge (0–100% in 38 minutes) and 50W wireless HyperCharge. The phone also supports IP68 dust and water resistance.
