OPPO K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ launched with 1.5K OLED display, Dimensity 8500 SUPER / 9500s SoC, active cooling fan
OPPO has launched its latest smartphones in the new K15 Pro series, the OPPO K15 Pro and the higher-end OPPO K15 Pro+ in China. Both are designed with a strong focus on gaming performance, advanced cooling systems, and customizable hardware, powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipsets.
The K15 Pro is positioned as a balanced device that combines gaming capabilities with everyday practicality. It sports a 6.59-inch 144Hz ultra-responsive display, which OPPO calls a “golden size,” aiming to deliver an immersive viewing experience while maintaining comfortable one-handed usability.
Performance and Cooling -
The smartphone runs on the Dimensity 8500 SUPER processor, enhanced through OPPO’s Tide Engine chip-level optimization. For thermal management, it incorporates the newly developed Swift Cooling Engine, which features:
- An upgraded low-resistance airflow duct and improved heat dissipation fins.
- A discreet air intake design protruding less than 1mm, supporting intelligent auto-start and adaptive speed control.
- Quiet operation, producing just 19dB of perceived noise at 50% fan speed.
- A triple-layer dustproof reinforcement structure contributes to its IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Design and Customization -
The K15 Pro embraces cyberpunk-inspired aesthetics and is offered in “Cyber Wings,” “Light Dust Pink,” “Origin Gray,” and an industry-first factory-forged carbon finish dubbed “Golden Legend.”
It also introduces hardware-level customization options. The ultra-slim, card-style rear camera module — framed in metal and protruding less than 0.6mm — supports DIY magnetic lens caps for personalized styling. Additionally, the upgraded LanYing breathing light allows customizable color effects based on phone status and usage scenarios.

Unveiled toward the end of the launch event, the OPPO K15 Pro+ serves as the premium variant, offering upgraded specifications aimed at serious gamers.
It runs on the next-generation Dimensity 9500s flagship processor and features a larger 6.78-inch 165Hz ultra-sensitive display. The higher refresh rate supports native 165fps gameplay across several major mobile game categories.
