    Realme has officially confirmed that the upcoming GT 7 series will be equipped with a massive 7000mAh battery and support 120W ultra-fast charging — a first for the brand, after revealing its design and launch date.

    In conjunction with this announcement, realme has released a white paper titled "The Future of Battery Tech", developed in collaboration with TÜV Rheinland. The paper explores current challenges in smartphone battery technology, including energy density limitations and material degradation that can affect battery life and charging performance. It also outlines realme’s solutions, such as innovative battery architecture and smart management systems.

    Among the technologies highlighted, the white paper discusses 320w fast charging, which can fully charge a device in about 4 minutes and 30 seconds using magnetic-coupling DCX step-down technology. Other advancements include multi-cell battery configurations, AI-powered battery management systems (BMS), and enhanced heat dissipation methods — all aimed at improving battery durability and safety.

    With its 7000mAh battery and 120W charging, the GT 7 series addresses a key industry issue: the trade-off between high capacity and fast charging. According to a teaser, the phone can reach a full charge in just 40 minutes.

    The realme GT 7 series is set to launch globally and in India on May 27, with the GT 7 and GT 7T models available via realme.com, Amazon.in, and select retail partners.
