Realme GT8 Pro to debut in October with 2K screen, 200MP periscope telephoto lens, new camera deco
Realme is preparing to launch its next flagship samrtphone, the Realme GT8 Pro series in October. The device, spotted on Geekbench AI benchmarks under model number RMX5210, revealed key specs including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 16GB of RAM, and Android 16.
Camera and Design -
The phone will feature a new triple-camera module on the rear, departing from the usual square or circular layouts. Instead, it adopts a design with two circular lenses and a square periscope telephoto unit, giving it a robotic appearance. Realme has confirmed that the telephoto will be a 200MP periscope telephoto camera — a first for the brand. Previous leaks also mentioned a 50MP main camera and an ultra-wide sensor.
Display -
The GT8 Pro will feature a 2K 8T LTPO display, an upgrade from the 1.5K screens seen on earlier models. Reports suggest a 6.78-inch flat panel with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Additional highlights include IP68 dust and water resistance, dual 115E speakers, and an X-axis linear motor.
More details are expected in the coming weeks, ahead of the series’ official launch in October.
