realme P4R 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 18,999 with 6.8-inch 144Hz display, Dimensity 6300 SoC, 8000mAh battery

realme has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the realme P4R 5G in India, following its recent announcement. Targeted at young users, the smartphone focuses on delivering long-lasting battery life, efficient thermal management, reliable performance, and a range of AI-powered features.

Massive Battery with Advanced Charging Technologies

The standout feature of the realme P4R 5G is its large 8000mAh Titan Battery, which the company claims can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge. Despite housing a high-capacity battery, the smartphone maintains a slim 8.88mm profile and weighs 224g.

realme says the battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its original capacity even after seven years of usage or approximately 1,600 charging cycles. The device incorporates several battery optimization technologies, including:

• 45W Fast Charging for faster power replenishment.
• Bypass Charging, which powers the motherboard directly during gaming and intensive tasks to reduce heat generation.
• Wired Reverse Charging, allowing the smartphone to charge other compatible devices.
• AI Power Management features such as AI Long-Life Algorithm, AI Night Charging Mode, and AI Cold Charging Mode for improved efficiency and battery longevity.

Performance and Cooling System

The realme P4R 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0. The company states that the phone has successfully completed a 48-month fluency test, while its Extended Use Care feature enhances overall system smoothness by up to 20%.

realme has also committed to providing two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.

To keep temperatures under control, the smartphone features a large 5300mm² AirFlow Vapor Chamber cooling system paired with a dedicated One Tap Cooling feature. According to the company, this setup helps maintain a stable 60fps gaming experience in popular titles such as BGMI and Free Fire.

Display, Audio, and Durability

The device sports a 6.8-inch Sunlight Display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM), ensuring improved visibility under direct sunlight. Audio is delivered through an 1115 Ultra-Linear Speaker that supports 400% Ultra Volume mode.

For durability, the smartphone utilizes realme’s ArmorShell™ protection and has received MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for shock resistance. It also carries an IP65 rating for protection against dust, rain, and water splashes.
