REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet 3 Pro to be launched on June 11 with 9-inch 2.4K 165Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC
REDMAGIC is set to launch its upcoming gaming tablet, the REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet 3 Pro in China on July 11th, after the launch of REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet PRO last year. The company has also confirmed that it will debut globally later in July under the name REDMAGIC Astra Gaming Tablet. Ahead of the launch, official images of the tablet have been shared.
REDMAGIC recently revealed that the tablet will feature the Synaptics S3930 touch chip, promising improved control with reduced touch latency, quicker response times, and enhanced accuracy—ideal for competitive gaming.
The tablet is also claimed to be the industry’s first compact tablet to combine a massive 8200mAh battery with 80W fast charging, capable of reaching 50% charge in just 22 minutes.
It will sport a 9-inch 2.4K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1600 nits, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and Real RGB pixel arrangement, all surrounded by slim 4.9mm uniform bezels.
Additional display features include 5280Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming and SGS certification for low blue light and flicker-free eye protection. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and will include an active cooling fan, visible just beneath the rear camera module in the official renders.
The tablet features a Deuterium Front Transparent design and will be available in two color options: Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night and Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing. Pricing details are expected to be announced at the official unveiling next week.
