REDMI Buds 8 launched with up to 50dB ANC, LHDC 5.0, Spatial Audio, 44-Hour Battery Life
Xiaomi has launched its latest TWS earbuds, the REDMI Buds 8 in China alongside the REDMI K90 Max. The earbuds feature a lightweight, ergonomic in-ear design, optimized using ear modeling data for a secure and comfortable fit. They come housed in a vertical charging case and are available in Black, White, and Green colour options.
The earbuds incorporate deep-space noise reduction technology, certified by the China Institute of Metrology, which adapts to the user’s ear canal for personalized active noise cancellation. They offer up to 50dB peak noise reduction, with an average reduction depth of 24.9dB, and support frequencies up to 4kHz.
For versatility, the REDMI Buds 8 include multiple listening modes:
- ANC modes: Deep, Balanced, Light, Adaptive
- Transparency modes: Standard, Voice Enhancement, Environment Enhancement
For calls, Xiaomi has integrated a triple-microphone AI noise reduction system with wind resistance of up to 12m/s, ensuring clear voice quality even in outdoor conditions.
Audio performance is driven by an 11mm dynamic driver, tuned to deliver balanced bass, natural vocals, and detailed highs. The earbuds support LHDC V5 transmission and are certified for Hi-Res Audio Wireless. They also feature spatial audio powered by Xiaomi’s HRTF algorithm, along with EQ presets and Sound ID-based personalization.
In terms of battery life, the earbuds offer:

- Up to 6.5 hours (ANC on)
- Up to 44 hours total with the case (ANC off)
- Up to 28 hours total with the case (ANC on)
- A 10-minute charge provides up to 4 hours of playback
Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, with Xiaomi HyperConnect features such as device tracking, camera control, voice notifications, audio sharing, dual-device connectivity, and seamless switching between devices.
