REDMI Clip Neo clip-on earbuds launched with 12mm Dual-Magnetic Drivers, up to 32h total playback

Xiaomi has launched its latest TWS earbuds, the REDMI Clip Neo clip-on in China alongside the REDMI K100 smartphone. Each earbud weighs 5.3g and features a track-shaped C-bridge, a teardrop-shaped acoustic sphere, and a 3.4mm clamping gap. The design was developed using data collected from more than 1,000 ear shapes to ensure a comfortable fit.

The C-bridge incorporates a 0.6mm high-elasticity memory titanium wire that has undergone 25,000 bending tests. It is covered with skin-friendly liquid silicone for added comfort. The vertical charging case features a Cloud-Gap Light Effect 2.0 battery indicator. Both earbuds have a symmetrical design, allowing them to be worn in either ear. Playback automatically pauses when the earbuds are removed and resumes when they are worn again.

For audio performance, the REDMI Clip Neo is equipped with 12mm dual-magnetic dynamic drivers featuring dual N52 neodymium magnets. Xiaomi claims this configuration increases magnetic flux by 20%, maximum amplitude by 25%, and overall loudness by 40% compared with conventional single-magnetic drivers. The drivers also feature a diamond-like carbon (DLC) diaphragm coating designed to improve transient response and minimise sound distortion.

REDMI Clip Neo Features

The earbuds offer several audio enhancements, including a real-time bass compensation algorithm that adjusts bass gain to counter low-frequency leakage at lower listening volumes. Users also get four preset equaliser profiles tuned by the Xiaomi Acoustics Lab, along with a 10-band custom EQ for personalised sound adjustments.

For calls, the earbuds feature sound outlets aligned with the ear canal, rear pressure-relief vents, dual microphones, and dynamic AI noise reduction to minimise sound leakage and suppress background noise.

Xiaomi claims the REDMI Clip Neo delivers up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 32 hours of total battery life with the charging case. Available in Black and White colors.

Additional features include simultaneous connectivity with two devices, Xiaomi pop-up fast pairing, and automatic connection when the charging case is opened. The earbuds also support hearing monitoring, which tracks listening duration and ambient noise levels, along with map-based location tracking and audible alerts to help users locate them at their last connected position.

A physical button provides customisable single-press, double-press, triple-press, and long-press controls. The default functions are as follows:

• Single press: Play or pause music.
• Double press: Skip to the next track, answer a call, or end a call.
• Triple press: Skip to the previous track.
• Long press: Activate the voice assistant or reject an incoming call.

The long-press control can activate the voice assistant, which is compatible with iOS devices. Super Xiao AI supports interruptible conversations, news and weather queries, and travel itinerary generation. The Xiao AI Companion Mode enables proactive greetings and responses to emotional cues.

Through Xiaomi HyperOS integration, users can control connected smart home appliances, including air conditioners, and access information from compatible vehicles, such as the remaining battery charge.

REDMI × CryingCenter Co-Branded Edition

Xiaomi has also introduced a limited-edition REDMI Clip Neo gift box in collaboration with sports streetwear brand CryingCenter. The special edition includes the earbuds in the Zero-Degree Black colour option, a branded carrying pouch, a sticker set, and customised gift box packaging.

The CryingCenter edition features exclusive packaging and is sold separately from the standard REDMI Clip Neo version.
