Redmi K80 Ultra launched with 6.83-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, Dimensity 9400+ SoC, IP68 ratings, 7410mAh battery
Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone in the Redmi K80 series, the Redmi K80 Ultra in China, as previously announced. It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 3200 nits peak brightness, 2560Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, DC Dimming, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It boasts an impressive AnTuTu score of 3.24 million and incorporates a 3D Ice Cycle Cold Pump and a massive 6500mm² concave-convex 3D cooling system. The device also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance. For enhanced display and gaming performance, it includes a dedicated Discrete Graphics D2 chip, enabling 144FPS ultra-high frame rate gaming.
The phone is equipped with a 0916C motor — the first to feature a closed-loop driver IC — and 1115 coaxial symmetrical dual speakers, claimed to be industry-leading. It sports a four-curved metal mid-frame, a premium fiberglass back panel, and a metallic camera deco design.
In the camera department, it offers a 50MP primary sensor (1/1.55″, with OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 20MP front-facing camera. The device houses a 7410mAh battery with 10% silicon content and an energy density of 827Wh/L, supporting 100W fast charging.
