Xiaomi is preparing to launch its upcoming smartphones in the REDMI K90 series in the coming weeks. The REDMI K90, with model number Xiaomi 2510DRK44C, has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing key specifications.

The listing confirms that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, marking a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in the REDMI K80. Typically, only the Pro variants of Xiaomi phones receive the flagship chipset.

The Geekbench scores align with other Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered devices, including the latest Xiaomi 17 series. The listing also indicates 16GB of RAM, with 12GB variants expected as well. The phone is likely to run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box.

The same model recently cleared 3C certification, confirming 100W wired charging, matching the Xiaomi 17 series, compared to 90W in the predecessor.

Earlier reports suggest that the K90 will retain a 2K AMOLED flat display, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, and narrow bezels. The series is also expected to finally support USB 3 and feature a battery exceeding 7000mAh.

While the REDMI K80 series launched at the end of November last year, the REDMI K90 series is expected to arrive around mid-October.
