REDMI Note 15 Pro series to be launched on August 21st with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, 90W Fast Charging
Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone in the Note 15 Pro series, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ in China on August 21st, after a series of teasers. The company has also shared official images of the Note 15 Pro+.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a familiar design with a large centrally placed camera module housing triple rear cameras, led by a 50MP main sensor with OIS. Xiaomi highlights its fully curved body and curved display, which together offer a sleek, elegant design with a premium in-hand feel.
A device with the model number 2510ERA8BC, believed to be the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, recently appeared on Geekbench 6, confirming it is powered by the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset — an upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 found in its predecessor. The listing also reveals 16GB of RAM, with scores of 1228 (single-core) and 3230 (multi-core), which outperform the 7s Gen 3 but fall slightly short of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
Last month, the same model passed 3C certification, confirming support for 90W fast charging. Another Redmi device, model number 25104RADAC, received radio approval with Beidou satellite text messaging support, expected to debut as the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Satellite Edition, Redmi’s first phone with satellite communication capability.
More details about the Redmi Note 15 Pro series are expected to surface ahead of the launch.
